Late Cancellation Policy
Please read below for our policy regarding cancelling lessons
Late Cancellations
LifeTime will be marking off “late cancelled” from 2020 for Squads & Holiday Camps. This means missed sessions for reasons outside our policies will be lost.
This has always been our policy and unfortunately, we have found some players and parents are still unsure and unaware of what it is. Make ups for missed lessons are available for the rain days, public holidays, tournament competition day/s.
Below is a list of common reasons that players miss lessons outside of our policy.
- Stuck in traffic
- School function
- School Camp
- Friends / Family Birthday
- Not feeling well
- Booking physio & doctor appointment during squad time
- Exam week
- Looks like it’s going to rain
- Forgot that I booked make up session
- Too tired from school sports day
- Something came up, can I attend earlier session / later session
- Cancelling at last minute or with insufficient notice of absence
Unfortunately, those above reasons will be marked off as charged late cancel and players are not able to reschedule to attend another day. We’ve had too many players calling & emailing each day and it means that every time a player pulls out, the standards change. It’s not fair for the players who have turned up to every session, so we are asking players to only turn up to your scheduled session. Session will be lost immediately if you choose not to show up for whatever the reason except rain days and public holidays.
To some this may seem “tough” however there is a large cost involved in staffing and running programs at the level we choose to. Many of the costs are based on players' commitments to lessons and attending.
It is also important that players attend lessons to improve, we want to make a difference with players and expect a level of commitment from them.
If you feel that you would not be able to prioritise your tennis first, please reconsider signing up to LifeTime Academy Squads as they are programs which require a high level of commitment.
Private Lesson Late Cancel
If you cancel your private lesson with less than 24hours notice, there will be a charge of 50% of the lesson value. This will help to cover the cost of the coach’s time.
