Vibration Dampeners are small pieces of rubber designed to fit on your racquet strings to reduce vibration in the frame and handle while playing.
The purpose of a dampener is to reduce the vibrations of the racquet strings. You will notice a difference in the “ping” sound the ball makes when hit.
The vibration dampener should be placed below the bottom string on your racquet frame, as shown below.
